```The Dope Show Arlington reviews
Disappointing
My wife and I eagerly anticipated attending The Dope Show. We frequent concerts in the city. This show was the most disappointing one I attended this year. The opening act was a cover band with awful wigs that might deceive a Jersey shore beach bar crowd, but they were out of place at the Fillmore. The Dope Show then took the stage, lacking a guitar and displaying weak dance moves. As a musician myself, I noticed the uninspiring backup band. While it may have been satisfactory for a casual concert attendee, I had higher expectations. I had hoped to see the musician in his retro style, rocking out on his guitar as seen in his videos. I regretted spending the money, as I could have been at home enjoying his vinyl collection and sharing a bottle of Italian red wine for the cost of one beer at the Fillmore. The better shows I experienced this year were Bruno Mars, Red Fang, and The Roots. None of them were held at the Fillmore.
